Riding Background: I rode for a couple of years in my 20s but was mostly recreational. 4 years ago I decided to start riding again since I love the feeling of riding down country roads. Enjoying the sun and exploration as can only be enjoyed on a bicycle.

How did you get into Recumbents? Upright bikes were painful for me in all the normal places, while playing around online I saw a 3 wheeled recumbent, also known as a trike. Decided that was the ride for me. It was for the first season and a half then I saw a Bacchetta. After more research and meeting some Bacchetta riders, decided that the Corsa was really the bike for me. And how true it is.

2009 Race results: Sebring: 212 Miles, Heart of the South: 200 miles in 12 hours 16 minutes, Calvin's Challenge: 242 miles

Personal Best Rides: All of my 2009 races were a personal best for me. But I am most proud of Calvin's. I had a very poor performance the previous year and just had a golden day of riding in 2009.
